Montreal-based fibre artist Marielle Saucier emphasises craftsmanship in her art, combining various textile construction and embellishment techniques to create minimalist pieces. Her work reflects an intimate exploration of her cognitive functioning. Thanks to a grant from the Young Volunteers program, she is now completing a year of research and creation.
