Nicole Schultz

London, ON

Booth 624

Main

Nicole’s work uniquely blends her hard-edge geometric expressionist painting style with her passion for woodworking and custom framing. Her practice is well known for her innovative ongoing 'fractured frame' series, where art and frame seamlessly intertwine in broken sculptural forms that expand both the geometry of the piece, and drive their conceptual narrative. Her work, characterized by a bold interplay of colour, shape, and fragmented edges, become layered expressions of emotion - with influences from post painterly abstraction, minimalism, and street art. Nicole shows both in Canada and the US, and is currently represented by The Benz Gallery where she resides in London, Ontario. Her work is showcased in various private and commercial collections worldwide.
