Morris Wazney is a sculpture artist who works primarily with bronze, aluminum, steel and found objects mainly made of metal. Her foundry studio (Shed 28) is based in Lambton Shores, Ontario, where she creates sculptures in limited editions of 28. Today, her artworks are informed by research of themes including shared nostalgia, generational patterns, reflections on social norms seen in the games we play as kids and abstraction expressing the movement of the human body. The continued development of her casting facility, Shed 28, goes hand in hand with her expanding themes and exploration of various metals to express her research.
