Lori Ryerson is a Toronto-based, award-winning contemporary art photographer. Influenced by modern photographers like Valda Bailey and Alister Benn, and impressionist painters such as Monet and Lautrec, she spent the last few years photographically immersed in creating mechanical abstracts through software manipulation. This year, she returns to her nature photography roots with her Nature’s Abstracts Collection, a series of images rooted in the ephemeral abstract moments found in nature. Lori is a juried member of both the Ontario Society of Artists and the Society of Canadian Artists. Her works can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada and the US.
