My work explores what happens after usefulness ends. I work with discarded materials—wrappers, packaging, flowers, and street refuse—to examine how time, exposure, and pressure reshape value. Once designed to attract and seduce, these objects are quickly dismissed. I follow them beyond that moment of abandonment. Inspired by fashion, humour, and the environmental impact of mass production and consumerism, I repurpose what is carelessly discarded and give it new life through my lens. Creases, fading, and wear become records of experience rather than signs of failure. Like us, these materials are altered by what they move through. Their marks become evidence of endurance, not damage. We are shaped by time, but we remain intact.
