Main

Originally trained as an engineer, I made a bold shift in 2011 to pursue painting. I began with portraits, still lifes, and nature, but over the past six years, I’ve become deeply devoted to capturing the raw beauty of florals. I approach each bloom as a vessel of emotion—fragile, fleeting, and fierce. My work is rooted in contrast: lush colour against black or vivid backgrounds, thus juxtaposing softness with intensity. Using oils, I explore the energy within each petal, the quiet drama of a curve or shadow, and the light that breathes life into stillness. Through this lens, flowers become more than subjects—they emerge as metaphors for transformation, resilience, and desire. Through each painting, I reach for a quiet connection—one soul to another, through colour, form, and emotion. My work mirrors my own path from engineering to painting, and is, at its core, a testament to the power of change and the beauty that can bloom from it.
