Main

Emotions, reflections, and challenges are translated into visual narratives, offering glimpses into the intricate tapestry of the creative process. Kari Serrao is a Toronto-based painter known for her anthropomorphic portraits. She holds an AOCA in drawing and painting and is a member of the OSA. She has an established exhibition record, which most recently included Queens Park. Her award-winning encaustic practice has recently expanded to include oil painting. In a post-pandemic world, Kari's work is quieter and more contemplative. Her most recent work focuses on the effects of a childhood spent in a seemingly idyllic locale. Kari's work can be found in collections globally.
