Artist Jing Zhu was born in Beijing and now a resident of Canada. Ms. Zhu has been passionate about art since childhood and has been engaged in artistic creation and design for many years since her arrival in Canada as an immigrant. She learnt from Mr. Zhao Da Fu for oil painting technique for years. (Mr Zhao is a member of China Artists Association, former fine art editor at People's Fine Arts Publishing House of China, chief editor of Watercolor Art.) ?While she was born in the East, she has been living and working in the West. The contrast and interaction between the cultures of the East and the West, as well as their mutual impact upon each other, have been an ongoing source of influence that permeates her works, which has contributed to her unique artistic style and continues to be a source of inspiration for her creative efforts. Her art work "A group of sheep" was invited by the European Cultural Centre to participate in the Venice international Biennale Art Exhibition 2024 : Personal Structures.
