Jasmine Virginia is an Oakville based artist that followed the promptings of a lucid dream that was clear in its message to start creating light filled art. Her work blends upscale materials such as crystals, semi-precious stones and more with chains, metals and recycled jewelry components unearthed in antique jewelry stores and second-hand shops. The resulting work is high-end, up-cycled chic; dynamic, light-reflective art that is deeply rich in both texture and colour. The true thrill of her art is watching it transform before your eyes as you interact with the pieces and they interact with the light in the room. She has been creating this art for 9 years and has sold hundreds of pieces to both Canadian and international buyers. Artist Statement: My hope is that this art reminds you of the light within you that you were born to share. Every time you gaze upon one of these pieces may it become a consciousness accelerator through being a meditative anchor in your day reminding you of your own intrinsic dynamic light.
