Jana Osterman is Prince Edward County based artist, mostly working in three dimensions. Her work is informed by nature: fractals - patterns in the sky, on the bottom of a lake, on skin…forms in snowdrifts, bodies, ice cracks, details of bones and bird skulls… all distilled into simplified forms, working away with unnecessary, while trying to achieve a tactile and meditative whole, inviting touch and contemplation.
