Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Edith moved to Canada at the tender of age of 4. Spending her summers in Israel and travelling through Europe in later years ignited a lifelong passion for photography and travel. Edith has been involved in photography and the creative arts for over 30 years, earning a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University in Montreal. A multi-discipline photographer, Edith embraces the landscape and people she encounters on her travels by creating images that are both grounded in reality as well as transcend it. Her creative and whimsical fine art pieces defy the perceived notion of static imagery. Edith is also an educator who is frequently invited to speak at various photography clubs and organizations throughout the city.
