Gatineau, QC

Booth 759

Main

Born in the Outaouais, Daniel St-Cyr began sketching and drawing early in school. After Cegep, he went on to study at Algonquin College of Applied Arts in Ottawa, and became a full time artist in 2010. Self-taught as a painter in oil and acrylics, Daniel is inspired by color in nature: landscapes, seascapes, marine life, wildlife, and often creates an imaginative setting leading to a harmonious composition. Qualified as having a classic-impressionist style, he skillfully applies paint to his canvas in various thickness to get different effects. His paintings often glow with luminosity, and offer a message of hapiness. Daniel’s art is testimony of his fondness for color in our aw inspiring world. As a member of various Art associations in Ontario and Quebec, his work has been recognised by the City of Gatineau and is gaining popularity among art collectors.
