Chris Harms strives to imbue wonder, humour and curiosity throughout his artistic practice. In this latest body of work he explores the desire to break free of grounded limitations in a joyous, playful manner. Embracing influences from the Arte Povera and Dada movements, Harms has contemporary readymades engage with natural stone. His work has gone to collectors in Canada and the U.S. and he was awarded first place in the 2020 Overzealous Fine Art Exhibition. He is self-taught.
