Toronto-based contemporary artist Aadila Munshi is known for her evocative and elegant calligraffiti. A former Criminologist from South Africa, her work is grounded in the aesthetics of street art and shaped by cross-continental experiences and a third-world perspective. Through her asemic writing, she has developed her own abstract visual language that reflects on the complexities of identity, belonging, memory, and nostalgia in an increasingly fractured world.
